Gabriel Ma, tenor Helen Cha, piano Making his orchestral debut as vocal soloist in 2003, Gabriel is a young artist at Hong Kong Grand Opera. In this evening recital, the duo will be interpreting selected scenes from Schubert's Winter Journey.

In 1828, German poet Wilhelm Müller conceived his poem set “Winterreise”, an episodic monologue of a wanderer along wintery scenes, questioning calmly in a status of void if life is a deceit or reward, of accumulative dreams and their pursuits.
“I arrived a stranger,
A stranger I depart.”
