Nicolette Wong returned to Hong Kong after receiving her Master of Arts from the University of Cambridge and her Master of Music from the Royal Academy of Music, studying with Sulamita Aronovsky. Her former teachers include Hugh Petter, Katherine Lu, and Ramona Kan.
Nicolette has given recitals for the Liszt Society and the Beethoven Piano Society of Europe, and was invited by the LCSD to give a solo recital in Hong Kong as part of the ‘Our Music Talents’ series. She has appeared in recital and as concerto soloist in Greece, Poland, France, around the United Kingdom, and in the Greater China Region, collaborating with conductors such as David Josefowicz and Peter Stark. She has also recorded interviews and solo recitals for RTHK.
An avid writer, Nicolette writes regularly for Interlude, the online music magazine. She is an Executive Committee member of the Hong Kong Musician Association and frequently serves on the jury for several piano competitions in Asia. Eager to make classical music more accessible to a wider public, Nicolette founded and is currently the Programme Director of ‘The Sound of Art’ Sunday Concert Series at the Hong Kong Museum of Art, and as a committed music educator, she founded Mousa Music Chambers, where she teaches piano and music appreciation.
